This drama, based on the Daum webtoon Amazing Rumor by Jang Yi, follows a disabled high school student-- So Mun. He finds himself becoming a member of a group of evil spirit hunters known as the Counters, who capture evil spirits that escape the afterlife to prey on human lives. With the Counters, whom include the members Do Ha-na, Ga Mo-tak, and Chu Mae-ok. Together, they encounter many evil spirits and discover many uncanny mysteries, searching for answers they never had before. Keeping you on the edge of your seat, this drama makes the viewer feel as if they are part of the chase just as much as their fellow Counters.

As the one who made this Carrd, I have extensively listened to the soundtrack of the drama, watched the drama multiple times, watched the behind the scenes videos, and done extensive research on the drama as well as its cast. I wouldn't call myself an "expert" on The Uncanny Counter, but I would like to think I am knowledgeable on the topic. In my personal opinion, this drama has to be one of my favorites up to this point. The soundtrack is exceptional, of which I have found myself listening to during my free time just because of how amazing it is. Some of my favorite artists took part in it, such as Dvwn and the obvious Kim Se-jeong, and they both performed very well in the recordings of their individual OSTs. On the topic of the drama in general, it had beautiful shots, no plot holes, and beautifully executed acting, with the cast doing spectacular stunts and fight scenes on their own. I am someone who is very picky with their fight scenes, as I get bored pretty easily, but I was always on the edge of my seat during the whole viewing of this drama. It is unbelievably binge-worthy, and I recommend it 100%. I will find myself continuing to rewatch this drama in the future, as it was something that made me both laugh and cry hysterically.
